"En Jean Mat" is situated at Mauvezin  (near l’Isle-en-Dodon) in the department of the Haute-Garonne.  The village counts about 50 inhabitants, mostly farmers.  "En Jean Mat" is surrounded by hilly fields of sunflowers or Cole seed.  Here you still find plenty of nature, rest and tranquility.

The environment offers you excellent opportunities for walking.  Explore the surrounding picturesque villages and towns like Toulouse,St-Gaudens,... Do you like the Pyrenees? Only one hour drive will allow you to visit and conquer the mountains between France and Spain.  The tourist office can provide you all the information to even further explore the possibilities of the region.

You can go shopping in the neighbouring villages l’Isle-en-Dodon or Lombez.  There are also several restaurants, were you can enjoy the splendid gastronomic specialities of the regional kitchen.
